About The Horseback Riding Barn
Richard Fritzler founded The Horseback Riding Barn because he was frustrated with the kind of horseback riding lessons he found available for his own daughters.

He didn't want a horseback riding factory, impersonally processing as many riders as possible in the shortest amount of time. Richard felt there was a better way, a way for students to learn not only about horses, but what riding and handling horses could teach students about themselves.
A Better Way
The Horseback Riding Barn is dedicated to safely helping students of all ages and abilities learn equestrian skills while developing the poise, sense of capability, and self-reliance they need for the competitive world we live in. Students accomplish this through the natural and logical consequences of their own actions while learning about riding, horses and themselves.
Patience, kindness, respect, and understanding are key values in the classes at The Horseback Riding Barn. Students learn to treat each other, the horse, and themselves with these same values.
